CASE The Association for Public Art (aPA), a cornerstone institution in Philadelphia's artistic community, aimed to commemorate its remarkable 150-year legacy in a visually captivating and meaningful way.
RESULTCollaborating closely with Jan C. Almquist and aPA, I crafted a distinctive book that celebrates aPA's enduring impact on Philadelphia's artistic landscape since 1872. Each page of the book was designed to serve as a unique canvas, seamlessly integrating photographs, narratives, quotes, and chapter dividers to showcase aPA's rich portfolio of commissions and significant influence on the city's public art scene. The culmination of our collaborative efforts was revealed at a special event, aligning with the retirement celebration of aPA's esteemed executive director, Penny Balkin Bach.
